February 8, 2011 Hello, As I seek to improve my wellness and other aspects of my life, one of the things I'm working on is improving my vibration. What does that mean? Let's start with two basic physics concepts: Everything is energy. All energy has a vibration. Next, the Law of Attraction tells us that "like attracts like." Positive energy attracts wanted things, and negative energy attracts unwanted things. In other words, we attract into our lives what we vibrate. I want to vibrate vibrant health and wellness. That means taking my focus off the pain and visualizing feeling great. It's a challenge at times, but I'm committed to change. Our thoughts, feelings, and emotions are like a boomerang, where whatever we send out comes back to us. When we feel good, we send out good vibrations that attract things we want. When we feel bad, we send out vibrations that attract unwanted things, events, people, etc. If we become totally clear about what we want and become absorbed in the feelings of getting it, we then vibrate in perfect alignment with what we want. We may then be inspired to take certain actions or maybe not. The important point is that we do not get what we want only by the actions we take. How we feel about those actions is important. The Law of Attraction is simple, but like many simple things, it's not necessarily easy. Thinking "I want to get out of debt" may appear to be a positive thought. But it's a thought that will only keep us in debt - because we are focused on debt. It's much more effective to think "I look forward to enjoying financial abundance." In Money, and the Law of Attraction, Abraham-Hicks tells us:
If you're not sure what to think or say, say to yourself, "Wouldn't it be nice if . . ." and let yourself daydream all kinds of wonderful things. Here are three more tips to keep in mind to help you start manifesting your desires. Let Yourself Receive If the only thing your mind is doing is transmiting, the universe — which is trying to respond — can’t give you a single thing because you’re not allowing yourself to receive! So, have confidence in yourself and stop exhausting yourself by running around from person to person begging for riches, and then wondering why nobody is dropping a penny in your cup (Hint: It’s because you’re running away so fast, they cannot even reach for their wallets.) Just think of your desires and leave them out there, go away, and trust that your cup will be filled with gold coins (or whatever you asked for) when the time is right. Be Patient With Yourself Receiving takes time. Abraham-Hicks compares manifestation to an iceberg: Just as 99 percent of an iceberg is underwater, 99 percent of your desire is formed before it becomes visible to you. Only if you continue to focus on what you want will your desire show up in physical form. On the other hand, some people throw in more and more energy because they think that with more resources, the results will come faster. This is like trying to bake cookies in half the time by doubling the temperature. You’ll incinerate those cookies to ashes! In simple terms: Everything in this world has a natural development time. So relax and be patient. Then, you will less likely experience frustration, or worse, push yourself into a downward spiral of negativity that melts the part of the your desire that has already started to form. Support and Educate Yourself Seek and be hungry for new knowledge. Also, make an effort to be among people or communities where you receive support, learn from each other, and share new knowledge. Being around negative people can drag you down. While the Law of Attraction is not an overnight delivery service, it will indeed deliver, if you raise you vibration to a level to match what you desire. Here's a site that offers support to help you manifest your desires. Video I recommend the video, There's No Such Thing As Fixing a Problem, to anyone in the healing profession.
