Ten Tips to Raise Your Vibration

Having a high vibration is all about feeling good. And feeling good is what lets you attract the things you want in life. Here are 10 tips for raising your vibration:

  1. Laugh. Watch funny movies or TV shows, read funny books, share jokes with friends, or do laughter yoga, which combines yoga breathing techniques and intentional laughter, without the need for jokes or comedy.
  2. Send time with happy, upbeat people. Avoid naysayers.
  3. Get inspired. Read an inspirational book or watch an inspirational movie or show.
  4. Make a list of everything you appreciate in your life.
  5. Play with your pet. The great thing about pets is that they offer unconditional love. And play is good for you.
  6. Walk in nature. Or just sit under a majestic tree in your backyard or the park.
  7. Offer your help to someone in need. Doing good deeds is a great way to feel good about yourself. Note: Don't do this out of a feeling of obligation but because you truly enjoy helping someone.
  8. Do this exercise from Chi Nei Tsang:
    1. Sit comfortably and breathe deeply in a comfortable way.
    2. Imagine a joyful, smiling face in front of you, mid-brow.
    3. Bring that smile into your body, starting at your eyes and letting the smile move through your entire body.
    4. Continue smiling through your entire body until your body smiles back, happy and relaxed.

A variation on this exercise is to imagine yourself sitting in a bathtub filled with smiles.

  9. Meditate. Consistent meditation is one of the best ways to raise your vibration. Get some meditation tips with the Free Daily Meditations Mini-Course.
  10. Take a nap. If you are feeling all out of sorts, just take a break with a nap. Set the intention that you will feel better when you wake up.
