Hello,

Cherry Blossoms
Spring is almost here! We've had some beautiful cherry blossoms over the past month. Hope you enjoy the picture.

This issue's main article is about spa treatments. Then I talk a little about why I use Young Living essential oils.

Top 4 List Of Spa Treatments

by Samatha Putz

Our bodies naturally seek ways to relax and re-energize; however, not many of us take the time to listen nor take the necessary steps needed to be fit and well. If you experience headaches, anxiety, and physical aches and pains, then perhaps a visit to a day spa is exactly what you need. What can you expect from a day spa? Below you will find the most popular spa treatments available today. Take a minute and think about giving your body what it needs.

Body Wraps - These are very popular at the salon and also readily available for home use in the form of a kit. Body wraps are mainly used to detoxify the body. You can choose from a variety of wraps, such as sea weed, algae, Aloe Vera, sea clay, dry minerals, and herbal. Depending on which treatment you choose, you will be wrapped in towels or bounded with elastic cotton cloths for about an hour, followed by a moisturizer. These treatments tighten and tone your body while leaving it soft and supple.

Exfoliating Treatments - Imagine having your body rubbed down with coffee grounds or even rice. These ingredients are the main components of body polishes that strip your body of dead skin cells, much like a salt (sea salt and essential oils) or sugar scrub, except much coarser. Exfoliating treatments are usually followed by a moisturizer, leaving your skin youthful and satiny to the touch.

Facials - If you want a glowing complexion, then a facial is for you. You can chose to have an herbal steam facial to rid your skin of blackheads and impurities, a mud mask to detoxify, or a blissful face massage to get the blood pumping. Depending on your specific skin care needs, your day spa will point you in the right direction. Either way, your face will thank you for it.

Massages - Stress, sore muscles, aches, and pains are part of everyday life; however, massages can alleviate much of these symptoms. Day spas offer various massage treatments. You can opt for a hot stone massage, seaweed rub down, or aromatherapy massage. You can also ask for a traditional Swedish treatment that uses tapping, kneading, and gliding strokes on the body. If you’re feeling sluggish, then a massage will definitely help to revitalize all your senses.

The above list of spa treatments make up only a tiny percentage of what salons offer. Many have unique and original therapies that are only available through them. Visit your local day spa and enjoy a pampering massage, a revitalizing salt scrub, or an herbal facial. You owe yourself some of life’s little luxuries.
